As the Seven Sisters is a functional mechanism for information sharing and exchange, and comes together to work on certain activities at regional and international levels that are mutually beneficial like the ASEAN Summit Session on HIV/AIDS and UNGASS, a Secretariat Management Team i.e. the Seven Sisters Committee has been set up. The Seven Sisters Committee looks into strategising, policy formulation, monitoring and evaluation for the Coalition and it is the decision-making point of the Coalition. The committee is envisaged to provide mutual support in the operation of the Seven Sisters and to ensure that the Seven Sisters can continue to operate effectively and efficiently regardless of where the Secretariat is located.

The Seven Sisters Committee consists of seven permanent representatives, one from each network plus the Secretariat Co-ordinator
